What We’re Doing to Change the Narrative.

Our mission at PULSE is to improve the vitality of the south end neighbourhood and wellbeing of its residents. In order to accomplish our mission we committed to taking action in the following areas.

Pay it forward is also available.

Help Yourself Pantry

Created by residents the Help Yourself Pantry is a friendly non-judgmental environment where South End residents can stop in and grab an item or two to help make a meal. Through partnership with Second Harvest our pantry focuses on food rescue. In 2023 our pantry made 101 food rescues, averting 2 258 kgs of greenhouse gases through rescues made at Starbuck West.
